Today your experienced driver / guide will collect you from your hotel for the start of your journey to the Bay of Islands, one of New Zealand’s premier holiday destination.

We travel north through rolling rural countryside to the town of Warkworth where we will have a short stop and visit the ancient Kauri trees ( 800 years approx ) at Parry Kauri Park.

We then travel on to the city of Whangarei and enjoy a coffee break at the Town Basin. We continue on through the Northland countryside to the coastal town of Paihia.

We visit the Waitangi Reserve, the historic Treaty House, and grounds where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed on 6th February 1840. This would rank as New Zealand's most significant historical event of the past 200 years.

After completion of our visit to the reserve we have time for lunch before sending you off on Fullers world renowned "Hole on the Rock" cruise and dolphin viewing. On your return at approx 4.30 pm we return to Auckland and your accommodation.
